History

Jack was born in a suburb of New York City. After a mob hit claimed the life of his parents, Jack was taken in by an eccentric uncle of his, and taught several skills of dubious ethics and legality, for the purpose of seeking justice outside the system. Linking up with other anti-corruption youth with unusual skills, Jack made quick if unusual friends with Sara Eckhart, an up-and-coming hacker. Their relationship turned romantic, and they became an adept duo at fighting white-collar corruption from the shadows.

Digital World (DiRP)

A series of incredibly traumatic tragedies, as five to seven youths tried to stand up against a massive evil organization, which is why the author thought that the edgy backstory was appropriate. Both the backstory and this history were written many years ago. Long story short, Jack partnered up with Flamemon and the other youths and actually managed to stop the evil organization CAD and their leader Norton. During the final battle, Norton, in a monstrous digital form, attempted one final desperation attack after his defeat with his dying breath. Jack and Flamemon intercepted the attack to save his allies, but were caught in the collapsing dimension Norton's power had been sustaining, and as a result, were lost between dimensions.

DigiQuartz (HuRP)

Waking up and himself and Flamemon trapped in another world after Norton's defeat, Jack was trapped within DigiQuartz for around two weeks. During the time, Jack conducted surveillance on Monster Target from afar. While trying to sleep on his partner's urging, Jack was rudely awoken by Irwin and Omekamon, who were baffled by the unexplained human's appearance in the DigiQuartz. After a tense fight, a tenser conversation, and the tensest alliance, Jack joined the Digimon Hunt. Despite high tempers and suspicions, Jack joined the Hunters and plans to assist them in becoming stronger and more competent.

Digimon

Flamemon [ Partner ]

Jack's partner Digimon. Originally from the DiRP Digital World, he and Jack both were displaced after the defeat of CAD, and ended up falling into the HuRP DigiQuartz. Flamemon is quiet and reserved, owing in part to a stuttering disorder. He is a reliable and protective ally, and his partnership with Jack is ironclad, with the two of them often in sync without needing much in the way of words. However, Flamemon is worried about Jack's mental state ever since being trapped in the DigiQuartz, given the latter's persistent lack of sleep.

Offmon [ First Catch ]

Offmon was originally operating the Camera for Monster Target, filming and uploading the maniacal monkey miscreant's mesmerizing movies. However, after an attempt to save the camera from destruction lead to him missing a scene, Monster Target turned on him, resulting in Flamemon protecting him. Offmon is childish and naive, but he seemed blithely unbothered by MT's abuse of the Mamemon. Upon realizing that his acceptance of MT's Mamemon abuse was something he needed to make up for (whether it was due to DigiQuartz influence or not), Offmon willingly joined Jack's team.
