Incarnadyne

Incarnadyne was not born, she was forged. During the event of a solar eclipse, dark cultists that have forfeited their souls can perform a ritual to briefly summon the demon lord Sahkoor. When the land is completely devoid of light as the moon shrouds the sun, he will appear, bestowing his devout followers a piece of his essence.  This essence will then be used to create life - a half-demon that is of both the earth and the mystical. Incarnadyne was one such creation, and was trained to become a lethal assassin, doubling as a devastating flamethrower.

Being created from Sahkoor gave her an advantage that the cultists had not anticipated, however. For she had the cunning and genius mind of the Lord of Chaos, and would not be bound to their will. Realising that Incarnadyne had grown beyond their control, the cultists sought to re-establish their position of power. Fearful and enraged, the then 16-year-old unleashed a flame implosion that levelled the entire cave network that had been forged over hundreds of years.

Being fire-proof certainly had its benefits, for 2 days later, Incarnadyne emerged from the devastation, utterly exhausted, but alive. She has since spent the last 6 years integrating herself into society, quickly picking up on the ways of the world and always managing to gain an advantage somewhere. The majority of people assume she's a rare elf race, or simply don't pay attention to notice, and those who ask too many prying questions are silenced. Despite obliterating her old life, Incarnadyne has made her way through life in the way she knows best - assassination. Her untraceable acts have gradually stirred rumours, with people taking to calling the mysterious killer, 'The Blood Phantom'.
