A retired medical tech and a widower, after his husbands death he moved in with his two best friends as he is the type of person who doesn’t do well living alone, and did not want to burden his children who are starting families of their own. His children worry about him but he insists he’s fine. Anton is the platonic ideal of a grandfather, he cooks well, loves animals and babies, has a corny sense of humor, and is always there to lend a shoulder for you to cry on. He tends to not let things hold him back and looks on the bright side of most situations. He cannot however be by himself for days at a time because he becomes lonely easily, especially after losing his husband, and thrives in the company of others. He is the owner of Maisie, and thinks Alia must be a good person because she always greets Maisie despite not liking dogs too much.
