Personality

Kaden is more a long the lines of a stuck up brat. He'd been rather spoiled growing up and that personality trait had only glued to him as he grew older.  He's not the brightest in the crayon box either, as he tends to act before thinking at all times. Extremely gullible, selfish, greedy and just down right immature all in all with hardly any backbone at all.  His respect meter is also dangerously low, as he has a hard time knowing where his true place is. He believes any of his piss poor attitude is acceptable giving his Royal status and money, and for far too long has he been proven that correct. He talks a lot of smack for someone who can't take a hit.  But his protective trait can poke out when Kalen is hurt while she's under control.  Only then will he actually act out of character.

Kalen on the other hand, is a sweet girl with a warm heart.  She's the thinker of the two, always observing and analyzing those around her while her brother makes a huge mess of things; that in which she finds amusing.. well, most of the time. Shes very brave and very determined, giving she can dish out just as much as she can take, easily. Too often, though, she plays peace keeper, usually forcing herself in control so she can fix what ever trouble her brothers gotten themselves into.  She loves to laugh, make people smile and sing.

History

Kaden and Kalen were born as twins that happened to merge but still held different souls, which allowed them to control the same body, which was originally Kalens. The two share the same body, same mind, and can shift between control at will, usually being displayed in the change of their eye colour and voice, Kaden being more masculine with yellow eyes, Kalen being more feminine with red eyes.

As a child, Kaden took control the most, which came easy with his selfish trait and Kalens laidback trait. Kaden had to make a name for himself early, as him and Kalen were years behind their older brothers, Rite and Aiden, so he was always acting out. Out of the 4, he was a rude and boisterous Prince, demanding servants around for the most petty and difficult things simply because he could. He sat on his throne, was babied and pampered to the fullest, filling the dungeons with anyone that refused his orders big and small, which was... more than enough. He was a jealous boy, having known Rite was loved by all their people, and Aiden nearly just the same. He didn't care if he was the most hated of the brothers, just as long as he was the most something and more than the other two.

His jealousy trait took a higher leap when Yuji Kumiji was introduced from a Upper class family wishing to speak trade. Yuji was constantly visiting the siblings, finding a big interest in Aiden over Kaden, whom had a crush on her immediately. He hated his brother for 'taking' Yuji, which he would try to beat Aiden up for, but even though he wouldn't make a scratch on his stronger brother, Yuji was always there to step in the middle of them.  And if there was anything that hurt more it was her defending his brother over possibly loving him more as well. But he knew he couldn't hurt her feelings by demanding her affection back, and Kalen wouldn't let him even if he tried.  The two spoke a lot during this time, even if Kaden took most control. His crush on Yuji was no secret.

It was because of Kadens violent obsession of sending people to the dungeons out of jealousy of now both reasons, Yuji and his brother, that sent out a collection of lower class to be hired as servants. Which brought forth, surprisingly, Yuji, whom volunteered herself. He felt bad for it at first, but slowly assumed it was fate. He tried again to express himself to her, but seemed she had requested working with Aiden over Kaden and it boiled his blood over instantly. Jealousy continued and he'd breezed through 30 servants before declaring another wave of hire.

It wasnt soon after he began snooping on his fathers work, knowing of his families clash with the Caberlettis from years prior and the strange secret history being uprooted, so when a bounty was placed on Oden Caberletti and surrounding family, he most definitely HAD to get him before his brothers. He had to show everyone, including Yuji, that he was better.  He set out immediately, seeking help from Inaya Caberletti, whom of which wasn't wanted, but was a starting point for all people after Oden.  From her, he retrieved pointers of where he may be and ran off by himself.

During the time traveling, he would swap with Kalen more often, letting her control things now that he wasn't having to keep up his previous behaviour as constantly with the lack of eyes on him.

Their first walk in was Neo Caberletti, but upon learning he was no match even for the Scientist, he made it clear he would return every month in hopes to meet Oden and catch him by surprise.  The two set up camp nearest Neos Lab within Fadir, but it was Kalen who got curious about Neo and his children living there. When visiting, Kalen commonly takes control, getting permission to roam Neos home and spend time with the younger experiments that call the lab a home.  She had started a close  friendship with Koda, usually saying her visits are simply just to see him.  The two sing together, walk outside together, and she enjoys bringing him gifts and food.  Kaden will usually protest against such acts, but after so many years of watching her and Koda, he knows to just sit back and relax while they play. Him and Koda don't exactly see eye to eye, even if it's starting to slowly grow for the better between the two.

It was one rainy day when Oden and Kaden had finally met within Neos home.  At first Kaden threw himself at the man without a moments delay, but when he met the ground, he learned that maybe it wasn't the best to do this as quickly as possible. He understood he was definitely no match for Oden from the get go, and Kalen was not in the least bit interested to try either, seeing how easily her brother had been put in his place.  Of course this wasn't his acceptance of defeat;  his hard head decided he would train none stop til he can take on Oden.

To this day, he taunts the Caberletti, to no avail. Oden could care less  about the boy, so he'll usually stand there while he blows off his steam. But on other days, Oden and Kalen get along perfectly, to which Kaden calls her a traitor. The two talk about his daughter, usually Kalen wanting to meet and be friends and Oden apologizing that he can't allow that.

Oden knows Kaden would bring no harm to the either of them, or his child, given the boys weak physical abilities, but he could never risk his Cielos wellbeing because of their association with Inaya, and that much Kalen can understand. And on the other hand, Oden feels safe around Kaden and Kalen, on the fact he knows Kaden will never group up to take him down as he should, given his jealous and selfish traits.  He's a prize for Kaden and is not willing to ask for help or share the winners  spot.
