Niko

Niko is a formable demon horde leader, the master of a horde that existed on the island of Edin long before Char had formed his own horde and ventured over from the mainland.

A powerful realm demon that has been well respected by the demons of the land and feared by the humans that reside there. His gang is formidable against both hunters and slayers alike, and up until Char arrives on the island, few have challenged him in strength.

For a while after Char arrived to take over, Niko protected his territory well against Char's smaller horde, seeing Char as merely a pest than a foe, and the two demon gangs were constantly locked in battle with the other over dominance. 

However, there came a time when Char's horde grew too powerful, added with a spy planted by Char within Niko's ranks, brings about a moment of weakness that Niko had not anticipated until it was too late. 

After a long and bloody battle, Niko succumbed to Char's might. Char consumed Niko's gang into his own, growing considerably more powerful than before and gaining a feared and respected name for himself within the surrounding lands, among humans and demons alike. 

Char gives Niko a choice, not one he usually gives to those that he takes for his own- but out of respect for their years long rivalry, allows Niko to either join his horde as one of his minions, or be put to death.

Niko chooses death.

Extra:

There is something inside him. He’s actually not what he looks like. His body is merely the meat suit of a large black writhing creature, blind deaf and mute. Like a bunch of worms or eels connected to one another into one massive entity. You can see it in his tongue.
