A very good friend/almost a brother to Mya. Aion lives in Phenac City in Orre. They met through a Pen Pal system they held in the school Mya went to. Aion and Mya hit off very well.

Aion (nicknamed Ai(read: AI)) is always at his computer; rather it for research, goofing off, chatting with his few friends or Mya (he like to think of her as his sister since he is an only child), buying random things for his home, or playing games. He pretty much lives alone (with the exceptions of Zara and Knight) He stay mostly inside (that is why he's pale), but he does go outside when the weather in nice. (He works as an independent researcher)

He does not have a good relationship with his mother. She was an absentee parent. She would be away for weeks on end going on business trips or going to the pubs. On the rare cases she is home, she is found either in her home office (she’s a researcher of Shadow Pokemon), in the kitchen make HERSELF dinner while talking on the cellphone, or complaining about everything and anything (mostly about him). Most of the time she ignores him. She doesn’t like Zara, She feels like the cat pokemon is out to get her (which she does because she doesn’t like how Ai’s mother treats him).

He has a much better relationship his father though. His father has tried to play both roles, but with his own work he has to do (he is also a researcher but for how to improve the health of Pokemon) he is usually not around often. (but he’s home more often then his mother) He makes up for it by calling Ai to say he loves him. Sometimes if he’s home, They would go out for outings.

After he move to his own place, he would call his father once a week. He would only talk to his mother when she feel like calling up. His father helped him get his researcher job. On holidays and his birthday, his father would visit (most of the bring dinner for both of them) they would talk about random things. His mother refuse to visit him until he get rid of Zara. Needless to say, He will never see her at his doorstep anytime soon.

Since wild Pokemon are rare - to nonexistent in Orre, Ai mange to get a Skitty by himself when he was little. Mya gave him an egg that turn out to be a Poocheyena for his birthday.
