Lem is a moth who was born both deaf and mute! They have no mouth, and communicate through their own version of sign language! It is simple to learn and teach, so all of her friends have learnt it to communicate with him!
Lem is kind and smart, being very knowledgable about literature specifically. They are currently a college freshman!
Lem is a hardworker, wanting to prove her worth to others. However, she still makes time for his hobbies and interests. They are playful, often joking with her friends, or sending them funny videos he finds.
However, she finds she can get frustrated easily, which they are working on. They dont like being mad at others, but sometimes people are just really dumb, yknow?

Lem is a grey and white moth with orange and black accents! (Subject to change)
I am going to redesign him soon, as a character he is very chubby and fluffy! She has large gradient eyes, and large wings that are more than half their size. Their hands and feet are hoof-like.
As Lem was born deaf and mute as a child, they had a hard time making friends. They liked making people laugh by drawing funny things or making silly faces, but kids still thought she was weird. Their parents were always busy and never had time to teach them sign language, so Lem taught themself his own version! Lem's sign language is very simple, as they only have 6 fingers total. Her step-brother, Eddie, helped them figure out different signs even though he was busy with his own job.
Lem really grew into his own in college! He loved the idea of teaching sign language to others, and also enjoyed drawing as she did when she was a child.
They met a few new friends in college, but she ultimately focused on herself to try and prove their worthiness to her professors and others.
Lem's older stepbrother! Though he is very busy being an author, he took care of his younger sibling like they were his kid. He often lets her stay at his house if she needs a break from school.
These two are good friends; they met in college and bonded over their love of reading and art! They like to study together in their free time, just enjoying their space together.
As Lem is a year younger than Kaizer, they don't share any classes, but that doesn't stop them from hanging out after their classes!
A friend Lem met in his sign language class! She found out Ash is hard of hearing, and wanted to learn their version of SL even though he doesn't have hands! They bond over their shared life experiences, and are very close!
