• maras older sister. whn mara left fr inkopolis after a disastrous argument between them, rye stayed behind nd grew up w.o her. 
• she evntually became an elite octoling and an extremely skilled combatant, rising thru th ranks quickly to distract themself frm th pain of being left behind, convincing herself that she has to stay behind nd help their people, not to leave like a 'coward' (...like mara did)
• hears the calamari inkantation during the splatoon 2 boss fight, decides to defect bcs she realises she doesnt want any more part in violence, eventually becomes wht ppl know as "agent 8", making it thru the deepsea metro to the surface above...
• fav clothing brand is toni kensa
• Pretty good w most weapons bt usually goes around w the .96 Gal (nd has a fondness for brella weapons)
