Asen

 You're feeling guilt. That is a normal human feeling. 

A formerly sickly kid who has lived all their life being discriminated because of their peculiar pink skin color, resulting in a deep hate for humanity as a whole. They survived a radioactive explosion somehow, but their will to live and hatred for humanity is what makes them run away from the authorities, along with the radioactive experiment that caused the explosion.

     Appearance

They're short, with pink skin and piercing red eyes. They have a round nose and their hair is a more saturated pink color than their skin, is short and slightly spiky but smooth.

Their body hasn't developed since they were 11 years old, but they still grew up a little until now. However, thanks to radioactivity, they won't grow up anymore.

Before the incident, and whenever they're away from Californio, or the radioactivity isn't doing effect on them, their hair turns white, and their skin and eyes become less saturated.

     Personality

They're snarky, sarcastic, sometimes moody, and have grown to hate humanity through all their life. They'd prefer to be alone, and have been alone for a long time. Because of that, they've become terrible at interacting with people.

They're awkward, and sometimes even try to make jokes but it's just not fitting. They don't know how many things about the world work, but at least they know enough to guide Californio around.

If you get on their soft side, or somehow manage to make them nervous, they'd act like somewhat of a normal person. They get embarrassed and nervous very easily. They also get annoyed very easily, especially if people don't listen to them.

     Powers/Skills 

They're sort of a 'radioactivity storage' or battery. As long as they're close to Californio, they're able to regenerate any wound. They also have heightened endurance, though they still very much feel pain a lot.

When they regenerate open wounds, their blood evaporates.

If they somehow separate from Californio or are unable to work as a battery, they will become vulnerable to any disease and quickly burn out.

They also have good aim, especially with hand guns.

     Backstory 

They were bullied because their skin color as a child, having their mom and family as the only support.

To 'take revenge' on the people that bullied them, they started making voodoo dolls of those who they hated. Naturally, the voodoo doll they've destroyed the most throughout the years is a doll of themself.

Asen suffered many different illnesses until they were diagnosed cancer and sent to a government hospital to potentially have it cured for free.

In there, they spent time being tested on, usually and mostly unconscious. Their family started visiting them less often until one day, they were informed that their family just abandoned them.

In a fit of anger for being abandoned, they just waited to die in that hospital.

Years passed, every year they spent more time passed out, though they didn't die yet. Until one day, something went wrong at the hospital.

Something blew up, and everyone at the city was caught in that massive explosion.

Without expecting it, Asen woke up afterwards, their body somehow surviving after that. They didn't understand it, but they saw someone standing in the middle of a broken floor of the hospital, looking at them.

• They dislike the color pink.
• Their favorite color is green.
• The way they destroy their voodoo dolls of themself reflects a bit of self harm. They don't even rationalize it at times, they're just really angry.
• Their current appearance doesn't match with what they know about themself. They're used to look like an albino light-pink-skinned kid. Now they're so much more saturated, and it's weird.
• They hear a faint buzzing all the time.
