Locke is a skittish and aggressive esk. He hates any interaction with humans, animals, or other esk, and will attempt to drive them away from his boundary or even do something worse. He does not speak, and mainly communicates with telepathic hissing or screeching.

Locke’s dreadful aura enchantment instills a deep bone-chilling feeling of dread into anyone close enough to see it. It gets worse the closer you get to him, and is almost unbearable if you get too close. This usually keeps unwanted visitors away. Locke doesn’t have good control over his enchantment, but it tends to vanish during rare moments of calm.

Locke was once a detective by the name of Richard Locke in the 1920s. He was investigating some clues in a stream on a stormy day when he was hit by a stray bolt of lightning. Seventh was in the area and transformed him. His transformation was traumatic and painful, and he remembers nothing of his life except for the last moments.
