◊ History: fell from a third-story window a century ago. Circumstances considered suspicious. Labeled an "accident" and further investigation quieted. He accepted the offer from Death to become a Reaper, interested in the chance of having a purpose that he didn't feel he had in life. He's never reconnected with his family or their descendants.
