- Mable is a main character in the story "Contrast", a story of a skeleton demi-god who is dedicated to collecting tormented souls from animals due to a horrible or agonizing death, where he meets a human girl, from some unworthy town.
He tries to protect and care for her without the experience of caring for a human.
Appearance
He is a tall skeleton of 223cm, his bones are soft although his body is made of white wood, with gray wood marks of light blue color that shine when he is happy, hot or excited; Although these expressions are very light, they are not easily noticed. He has the horns of a mountain lamb, while his legs look like that of some jumping animal.
He wears a large sky blue cape that is dragged down to the ground, where it is stained with earth at the end. He wears jewels on his head / horns, on his cape and around his pelvis. He wears a vest that covers half of his front rib cage but fully covers the back with long, wide, leaden brown sleeves, baggy pants down to his knees, and light brown bandages down to his "ankles." His pupils are gray / blue and glow brightly. All this clothing has been obtained with dead humans in the forest or previous confrontations.
When humans look at him, they see a creepy black hazy shadow with empty white eyes, they can notice his horns and cape.
Personality
Marble is very tame and expressionless, although he sometimes shows expressions when experiencing strong emotions. He does not speak and his moans or complaints are almost nil. His way of communicating is telepathically and he can speak to animals and humans of the language he learned since he was "born". He acts savagely when he has to defend himself, walking with his hands and feet, acting aggressively if his appearance does not cause him to scare off his invaders.
Trivia - He exudes a smell of maple syrup.
- Marble can break like any hardwood, it can take a week to regenerate depending on the severity of the damage. However, if his body suffered a burn, he has to tear off the affected part so that he can regenerate.
- His ecto, magic and soul is sky blue with tree crevice marks.
- He swallows the tormented souls of deceased animals to free them from fear and sadness, then he "vomits" this emotion as if it were mud and a tear falls where the soul of the animal becomes totally purified. He can do it with humans but he does not know or does not want to. But if he swallows a soul of a living being, the being dies immediately.
- All the souls that he purifies are drawn to his "limbo", where the souls take the form of white silhouettes of their respective bodies in a forest of white / gray atmosphere, while the vegetation is of dark and light blue tones. When the soul is ready to go to paradise, it becomes spores. Being the same forest that humans walk but the limbo aspect can only be seen by him, the animals and the human girl when Marble wet her eyes with his tears.
- He acts like a female animal to take care of the girl, since it is the only maternal form that he has seen in his life.
- He purrs when he's comfortable.
