Holland Lops are the smallest of the Lop breeds, growing to weigh a maximum of 4 pounds (1.8 kg). However if they do not have the Dwarf gene (aka false Dwarfs), they may grow to weigh more. As their name implies, they originated in Holland (Netherlands). The breed was developed by crossing a Netherland Dwarf rabbit, and the French Lop rabbit. Their bodies are short and thick set, and the head has a curved profile. They also have their signature thick droopy ears that hang downwards. Generally sweet and affectionate, these rabbits make lovely companions!

Optional Personality:
This Annie has always been rather self-conscious of her small size. She is rather tiny, so most of the time she gets picked on by others, or they act as if she simply wasn't there at all... In an attempt to make up for her tiny appearance, she tends to wear oversized and over-the-top clothing to make herself appear bigger and more noticeable. Despite her attempts to stand out, she is actually rather shy around those she doesn't know. However over time as she begins to open up to you, you'll learn that under her small and shy exterior she's actually very playful and adventurous!
