Idaya

Idaya is cited as a mysterious being, with power over air and ability to cure or worsen respiratory disease. She can be seen in many places, making her presence known world-wide. There is plenty of information on her, but most of it is kept from the public. The information the public does have however, is varying, flexible and perceived uniquely by each individual. -Idaya tends to stay in the shadows. She cannot stay in the sun for too long, or she will become weak. -She is frequently seen in places with many people attempting to blend into the crowd. She prefers to be near people who look like her. -Idaya can be seen holding clusters of balloons with a similar color scheme. A portion of the population believe that these balloons will revitalize the lungs of anyone who gets ahold of one. The people who receive one usually die weeks after they first see her, usually due to a respiratory issue. -Opinions of Idaya differ depending on who you ask, sometimes Idaya is a disgusting creature, made to lure the foolish to their deaths, others believe that there is more than what meets the eye. -She is 4 feet tall and only seems 7 - 8 years old. Some think that this child-like look is a ploy to further ensure that people take a balloon. -Despite people thinking of Idaya as a ghost or perhaps even a hallucination, this is not the case. She is an entirely physical being, has records and is considered a citizen. It is only due to her strange appearances that she is thought of as an entity rather than a person. The most realistic theory is that her image eventually warped into this entity over time. -She has been reported missing numerous times by family, also unknown.
