Appearance: Rondo appears as a butterfly with black and white wings. His upper wings have markings on them that appear as the flipped and slanted bar note at the beginning of the staff that face parallel to each other here. His lower wings simply have circles with "X's" in them.

Years ago, Égale had snuck into the village of Cantus Corum and placed a mysterious egg at the doorstep of a magic instructors home, in which they took in. Soon enough, that egg hatched out a mysterious, young dragon who seemed to be full of magic potential. He was taken under the wing of Loria and the people and given a lovely home, fitting right in with the people. However, this dragon was one of Égales little harbingers. Even once he was born, he's had secretly ill intent. Around age 5, when he was able to properly walk and talk, the instructor whom he had been lent to began teaching him about the basics of magic, which he'd plan to later exploit.

When he was 8, he had managed to encouraged his instructor to let him speak to Loria so he could "unlock his full potential" and begin his real training. When Loria helped him awaken his true magic potential, he obtained a powerful method of magic that disturbed even Loria, but she had trusted him not to abuse it. This magic was dubbed as "Conduction Combustion." As long as music was present, with the wave of a stick, he could cause large scale explosions on the dot. It wasn't before long that he'd become grossly smug and overconfident about his abilities. He became a small time trouble maker among the youthful population, constantly wanting to show off and being a sore loser when defeated in duels, but it was mostly blown off. It was pointless trying to teach him lessons about overconfidence, too, since he'd avoid speaking to more mature people.

At about 14, he went from trouble maker to small time delinquent. Honing in on his magic, he was able to convert inspire other teens around town to join him in a small gang to fill the malicious deeds that tainted his mind. Although, this trouble didn't force Loria to step in, as the people could deal with it on their own. He ended up getting arrested a few times for such trouble. He treated his gang poorly and saw himself above them, constantly gloating with every chance he got.

Later at 18, him and his gang were all grown up, he had met Égale herself in an alleyway. He didn't bother asking much, but was encouraged by Égale to do something big and drastic, like destroying the town, even giving Rondo shadow magic to do this with his gang. Being so grossly smug, he actually assembled his gang and attacked it.

In the center of town, he had his gang play a song to activate his magic, using it to take out as many structures and people as possible. He caused a good bit of damage in a short amount of time before catching Lorias attention, who attempted to forcefully put an end to his shenanigans. He, however, revealed his ability of shadow magic to rebel against Loria and evade her attacks. Little did he know, this just made his situation worse. Loria can easily recognize any work of Égale. Loria having been fed up, inflicted a powerful curse onto Rondo, turning him from a dragon to a powerless butterfly, who was shoo'd out of the village. He later found himself in the hands of Égale again, who offered to give him a little bit of power as long as he'd stay as her servant. This hurt his pride an awful lot, but he hesitantly agreed to it. Now he sticks with Égale and aids her in her dirty work, manipulating others into joining their side.

Moral of the story? Don't fuck with Loria.

Personality

Rondo is rude and manipulative, but at the same time classy and uptight. Despite being reduced to a mere insect, he still tries his best to go on about his goals by manipulating someone into doing his bindings, as he can't do much on his own. This usually backfires in the end, anyways, in which he will try and flee and dismiss the situation before he gets squashed. He's still constantly trying to manipulate someone, either way. Overall, he's just a massive asshole.

Rondo is unsurprisingly very angry about being a butterfly and tries to avoid the topic. He verbally takes out his anger on others, usually to anyone under his command whenever they make a mistake. Taking after high-class stereotypes, he has a more "refined" vocabulary, so he's quite creative with his insults. Instead of stupid, he'd use oaf, buffon, or even "fatuous." 

Rondo still sees himself as above nearly everyone, despite having to serve under Égale, and is incredibly hypocritical in nature when it comes to criticizing others.

Powers, abilities, etc.

Rondo, after losing his impressive magic abilities, is basically just a psychic butterfly that can do nothing but be a needle in ones side. His abilities to mind read, alter his wing shapes and patterns to camouflage, and being nearly impossible to kill are all he has to be manipulative. But, just a fly swatter or stuffing him in jars is enough to keep him at bay.
