Kathleen was born into an upper middle class family with no siblings and parents who doted on her.
This changed rather quickly, as her parents split up while she was still a baby. Her and her mother moved to a new town where he mother had to take on more work to support them. Her mother and her were very close and Kathleen would only mention her father every now and again, wondering why she hadn't met him or didn't know him. Kathleen was 7 when she started visiting her father at his new house with his new family. While she felt out of place among the people she hadn't grown up with, she tried to make the best of it, especially since she had two little brothers now.
Kathleen would spend most of her adolesence wondering if her parents splitting would be her fault somehow. The insecurity was so strong she would learn to hide things from people so she would never be a burden again. Family and friends knew Kathleen as a quiet but charming little filly. She loved to laugh and was kind when it was unexpected of someone her age. She never seemed to need anything, which was simply because she'd never say if she did. She was independent and filled her time with new hobbies and reading and watching people interact.
She grew to still be kind and found a passion for creating things. She continues to live with her mother while she attends school for art and visits her father's family on occasion, all the while keeping her secrets to herself.

Kathleen used to be one of my sonas!
She used to represent the sweet and creative parts of me as well as some traits I wish I had like the confidence to be myself unapolegetically. I gave her her own friends so I felt like she was her own character rather than a representation of me. I still love her dearly though!
She appears aloof, but is actually very observant and is always noting things about the people around her. She hardly ever holds grudges and can hardly remember to hold them. She'd rather be happy then holding onto negative feelings. She loves color and beauty and surrounds herself with both. She loves to laugh and make jokes! And anytime spent hanging out with her loved ones is never wasted time.
While her history is based on parts of mine, I've changed a couple of details about it to better explain her personality.

Delight is the sweetest person she knows. They've been friends since they were young.
Wisteria is always there to support her friends, though she has a tendancy to try and impose her will on others.
