A B O U T
Noor's parents were very rich but they had trouble having children so they adopted Noor when he was very young, and spoiled the hell out of him. He was always kind of insufferable, and demanding of other kids, threw tantrums at the smallest things, a real rich brat.
Noor's little sister was sickly, and spent many hours in bed studying instead of playing, and as a result quickly became an accomplished scholar at a young age. She recieved a vision for her efforts, much to Noor's envy.
He figured out pretty early on that most of his friends were fake and used his parents' money to manipulate them. Noor continued to do whatever he wanted, partying and drinking, while his resentment for his sister grew and grew, until he finally had enough and set out on a "great adventure."
Noor is a pretty shitty fighter all around. His "earth" vision is the equivalent of pocket sand and throwing rocks at stuff, and his archery is shoddy at best. The one thing he's good at is sneaking around, since he snuck in and out of the house to go partying so much.
Noor is still a whiny baby as an adult and hates it when things don't go his way. He throws temper tantrums and boldly makes false claims about things, acts like he's superior and smarter than everyone, and often insults authority figures and such with his arrogant manner. A lot of the time he doesn't see it as his problem and when he does it's a problem he can solve if he throws enough money at it.
Very very deep down, deeper than you'd expect shallow Noor to be capable of, he's really hurt that so many of the people he thought were friends were not, and feels vastly inferior to his sister.
The truth is, Noor can be really insightful and creative with his problem-solving when his ego isn't in the way. This creative problem-solving awards him a dendro vision after his actions severely injure Daiyu.
