Wilson is a pessimistic, stoic man on the outside, though he tries to be warm with those he has a heavy connection with. He's also an incredibly nerdy man; being that he has collections of trinkets and whatnot on him at all times, especially stuff that revolves around prehistoric creatures/archaeology, he describes himself as some sort of antiquarian. Generally, Wilson believes that nothing will ever get better, and so by believing that, he pushes his loved ones away; including Michael, his childhood best friend and later boyfriend in the story.

He has a lot of issues with controlling his emotions; however, its almost always targeted internally, instead of external(where he would hurt someone else). Wilson has animalistic tendencies and primal rage, causing him to randomly turn before a full moon hits at some points..
