Delilah

Delilah is a sweet and bouncy little bean. She's very wholesome and down-to-earth, happy to make friends with anyone she meets. Like most children, she has a wild imagination and loves to play pretend. She has a deep love for anything soft-- blankets, plush toys, fuzzy socks, you name it. Her favorite thing to do is build a fort using all of the soft items she could find and then lay in it and pretend she's laying in a bed of clouds.

Delilah first took an interest in sewing when one of her plushies got a hole in it. She took it to her mother, absolutely devastated and thinking it couldn't be fixed. However, her mother sat her down and showed her how the hole could be patched with a needle and thread. Delilah was amazed by the way the thread weaved in and out of the fabric and asked to try it herself. Her mother set her up with the materials and some fabric to practice on, and Delilah fell in love. She quickly became quite a pro at hand sewing, making little garments for her plushies and other small things. For her birthday that year her parents gave her a sewing machine and from there the possibilities became endless. She started making her own plushies, blankets, clothes, anything she could think of. The more she practiced the better at sewing she became, and soon she had people asking her to make things for them. She loved making things for other people even more than making things for herself, and once she was confident in her skills she opened up a small shop to sell her services.
