Roy is a young adult who recently graduated from highschool and moved to the big city.
Roy has a secret not many expect. He is a shadow and has primarily taken over Mykels body since middle school.After many incidents Mykel has become to anxious of the outside world and therefor prefers to stay hidden and inside. Roy feels a responsability to look after him and therefor does his best to take care of their body. From time to time he will try to encourage Mykel to come out, however these attempts have failed most of time.

PAST
Roy was a elemental user in his past life. He lived a poor life, and had to take care of his younger brother from a young age due to his parents passing away in the great war. When he turned older, he became fond of adventuring. Not only was he able to provide for his brother but despite the dangers involved in it he always had a lot of fun doing it. However one day that become his demise.
MYKEL
Unlike other shadows Roy has very faint memories of his past, but whenever he tries to make sense of them he is plagued by a terrible headache that would accompany him for the rest of the day. Because of that he stopped trying to put them together and just lives his life with Mykel. Due to Mykels bad anxiety, Roy has almost permanently taken over their body and therefor is the one who is outside most of the time. He goes to work, cooks, does the laundry and just overall takes care of the body. Every attempt of trying to get Mykel to come out have been unsuccesful so far. Because unless they are in their flat he almost immediately starts to panick, especially when there are a lot of people. Roy started to completely take over once they entered highschool.
PRESENT
After graduating they both decided to move into the city to try and establish a life for themselves. At least that is what Roy told Mykel. In reality, he heard that a doctor who could help Mykel had his office there. Unfortunately he wasn't on the cheap side, so Roy decided to focus on getting the appropriate funds together to go see them. His plan is it to just work as hard as possible for a few months, little would he have known, that this plan would be so easily and quickly disrupted.
Elron
[ old classmate ] Roy met Elron again at his new work place. They got along really well in highschool so they hit it right off when they met again.
Aurora
[ potential love interest ] The first real friend he made when arriving in the city. Due to unfortunate events they became friends because she took him to the hospital, however from then on they established a beautiful friendship. And maybe even more.
Seryth
[ good friends ] A mischievious, straightforward girl. Roy was a bit intimidated by her first, due to her chaotic and very honest nature. She ends up becoming one of his closest friends tho.
