Valerian is a very grouchy man- always a stick in the mud and the first person to tell someone off if they're being annoying. Many years ago, he was an all-powerful being who ruled the land for miles, but he went into hiding after being struck down by a powerful hero. The people assumed he had died during that fight, but he actually took on his current form and began blending in with society, scheming to regain his power and once again take control of the land. In order to accomplish this feat, he took on a job as a staff member at a famous historical site; the very place that age old fight took place- his own castle. Among the old relics and hidden rooms, Valerian hopes to find something that will restore him to his full strength.
