Traits:

Tommie is a snide girl. She can be wry, rude, and all-around unpleasant towards people, especially if she doesn't know them yet. This makes it rather hard for people to get to know her, and makes her difficult to befriend. Once she (begrudgingly) grows close to another person, however, her attention can be hard to shake. She's loyal to a fault, and if that person, no matter what they've done, betrays her, she'll make up a myriad of excuses for them in her head in order to maintain the positive light and idol-like ideal she keeps of them in her head.

Strengths and weaknesses (optional):

Some of her strengths include her wicked intellect, her athletic nature, and her dogged persistence. Some of her weaknesses include obsessive behavior, her unpleasant personality, and her lack of emotional flexibility. She tends to see things in a very black and white manner, with little room for nuance.

Brief Biography:

Tommie was born in the Faroe Islands and grew up surrounded in that culture. Her parents' culture is a bit of a mystery to her as she never met either of them, and only heard about them in passing from her Godmother. She doesn't know the specifics as to what happened to them, whether they're dead or alive, and she doesn't have any pictures to go off of in order to see what they may have looked like. This, in turn, has made her rather rootless, and she doesn't really feel attached to many people outside of those who make it past her threshold. This same Godmother she was pawned off on raised her for most of her life, and actively encouraged Tommie to pursue the studies she grew obsessed with. Thankfully, despite her oddities, she found a very comfortable position in the village she grew up in. This was tied in very closely to Faroese mysticism, rowing, (ethical and controlled) whale hunting, and chants. While she holds this spirituality very close to her, she has always been a peculiar woman and is dead set on studying the world of the supernatural. She studied these things extensively to the best of her ability, and would often go on very expensive trips in order to seek out more information. Her dogged persistence and lack of compromise may turn people off from becoming good friends with her, but it definitely allowed her to learn more than she likely could have had she not pursued such an endeavor in the way she did.  She believes everything can be categorized scientifically. And if it can't, then they just haven't found the right category for it. She has a bit of a complex, and is obsessed with death, tying into an incident that occurred in her village, in which a girl her age was murdered by a teacher Tommie had. This makes her mistrusting of authority and is part of the reason why she tends to shut her own emotions down. She also has a particular interest in necromancy, which is what she mainly tends to focus on. If given the opportunity, she'd most definitely become a young Victor Frankenstein, though, she'd much prefer to get a college degree first. If she can reanimate dead flesh, bring life back into the human form, through any means possible, she will do this.

5’5, curvy, muscular, very athletic looking

Hair, skin, and eye color:

Pale skin, wavy mid-length black hair, almond-shaped blue eyes. Her face is rather round, and she has a naturally rosy complexion.

Distinguishing marks/features:

She has a beauty mark just underneath the corner of her left eye.

Clothing:

She can normally be seen wearing a rather loose dark blue knit wool sweater over top of a meticulously ironed white button-up shirt, along with formal black pants and ballet flats.
