Ash is a zombie, one of the first that got infected when the apocalypse started. She was a college junior at the time she turned. She was actually turned by her boyfriend, ██████ (ex boyfriend now), as revenge for a fight they had. The disease makes you more aggressive and eager to spread it, resulting in the bite. Ash woke up from the fight fully turned, right in the middle of a full outbreak attack going on at her school, █████████ College. After fleeing realizing what had happened, she joined forces with a freshman named Maya who's had a crush on her for years.
Most zombies aren't sentient. They're guided fully by their feral instincts, like zombies you'd see in regular media. Ash, however, is the exception; she's fully aware of herself and her condition, though she has the fear she won't be that way forever. Maya assures her she'll be fine, but Ash isn't so sure.
- she has no pupil in her green eye. strangely enough, she can still see out of it.
- the scratches over said eye are self-inflicted.
- her open wounds don't necessarily hurt if they're touched, but they're fairly sensitive.
She's pretty friendly and outgoing, though she has a mean streak. When she was in highschool, she was a popular basketball player, so she has a bit of popular snobbery going on, but she's since humbled down a bit. She's still her same, teasing old self, but just a little tired from being awake all the time. Zombies can't sleep.
