Half submerged the nabi watched the island from a ways off. It was the afternoon and the sun was setting quickly. A large shape stared at his direction from the shore, it was quiet and terrifyingly still. ‘I wonder if it sees me. It probably does. Have I met it before? Ahhhh doesn’t matter if I did. As long as I stay here it shouldn’t bother me but I hope those other three made it off in time. Well, not that I would care if they didn’t.’

Personality

• Has memory issues almost a lot like selective memory. This often leaves him in a rather grumpy state. He isn’t always willing to help others but does like to assist others who are marine like much like himself. He’s omnivorous with a preference to fish and kelps.

Backstory/Story

• Lives in the ocean allowing the currents to pull him through the water. Doesn’t necessarily travel anywhere for a purpose, at least not one he remembers so he’ll often find himself somewhere not remembering why he’s there. For a while he lived off Makro’s island- hiding in the ocean during the night and traveling ashore during the day to see if he could scavenge what was left of any unfortunate creature. He is sadly trapped to live only in any climate that is tropical and is unable to leave that climate without succumbing to other temps outside his comfort range. The gel-like substance on top of his fur holds much needed water that keeps him from drying out on land. He absorbs water through touch and drinking.

•While roaming the tropic beaches of the mainland he came across Kilé whom himself was traveling farther inland after suddenly appearing in this world. Dia begrudgingly gives information to Kilé after the orca nabi asked for assistance, probably because they were both marine-like. He hasn’t seen the orca since but does occasionally hear of a weird magical orca with glass in the towns.

• He doesn’t really think of that sort of thing. His fears are constantly changing as he forgets things.
