Kesu is a synthetic demon. Meaning, he needs to charge like something electric from time to time. He does consume electricity, but he's no robot. His body converts it to energy, kind of like a sports drink.
He was artificially made. A human scientist created him from a dead demon and a synthetic skin/organ system they had made. As soon as he came alive, he killed the scientist.
