Personality : "If a leaf is to move anywhere, it must be willing to fly in the breeze." "Sometimes if you want to go forward, you must take a step back." Monk's musings often sound cryptic and silly to many cats, while others find her mantras to be motivational. Monk is rarely bothered by what others think of her since her primary focus in life revolves around nature and how its guardians interact with it. Monk is a spiritual cat who follows the teachings of an old God who supposedly walked the earth as a shape-shifter. The God taught that fighting for power and succumbing to greed would not allow you to truly achieve happiness. Over many years Monk has studied and followed her God's wisdom in her quest to achieve true happiness. She's cordial when interacting with others, never raising her voice to a shout for any reason. She spends the majority of her time meditating in nature and enjoying life one day at a time.
Backstory : Monk is currently training to become a spiritual guru, while she's been spiritually practicing her whole life, she hasn't obtained any formal titles. Monk is responsible for teaching Luxor how to read and write since her original occupation was that of a scribe. She meets Luxor while wandering through the desert, finding that the young pharoah has lost his way and is rather distraught with life.
