xIO-280 (ze-oh two hundred eighty)

(noun) a robot companion prototype gone rogue.

Created in a time of peak technology, xIO was a failed robot companion prototype. The goal of her creation was simple: something that will listen, something with no free will, and something with no emotion. The day her owner found out that all three goals had been missed, she was powered off and thrown to the curb as rain pelted down. 

Then, along comes Water Girlfriend, formed by the rain outside. Water Girlfriend finds xIO’s body laying outside, and decides to take her to shelter. Yeah, something like that. Cheesy forbidden love of the robot and the water.
