Kiella a runt, much smaller than a normal naga. This has caused her to be an outcast among the slithering people as she should not have survived long enough become a full adult. No runt ever does. However she managed to do the impossible by using her head instead of her brawn. She learnt alchemy and medicine and traveled the desert, selling her potions and aiding the sick. However the nature of her species would mean she would never be welcome with human society and her stature would mean she would never fit in with the naga society. She would keep wondering the desert alone until one day she gets lost in a sand storm she did not expect. Having accepted her demise she collapses in the sand and waits for her death. She would instead wake up in a garden, waited upon by a gigantic white snake in a city hidden from the world by the desert. That’s how she finds the city of Sythera, meets its queen Sytheris and finally finds a family.
