- First off, Axel is unusually strong for a human. Has lifted things as heavy as a car in some cases, without coming out injured. This usually isn't shown though, unless he's at the gym he frequents or if there's a dire situation that requires his help. Although, he's usually pretty shy if people watch him. More soft spoken and reserved than he might first appear to be.
- He's to go vegan!! His leather jackets are genuine, but he hasn't touched meat or dairy in years. Keeps his own chickens for their eggs and raises them well. Generally very tenderhearted and an animal lover. He also has a Dog, named lovingly by his childhood friend and "adopted son" Ryder a few years ago.
- Axel is the eldest of five siblings, all being adopted from different walks of life. He's taken on a sort of 'parent' role as both of his moms have to work a large amount in order to support the family. Despite his punkish appearance, he's actually very good with kids and takes excellent care of them.
- Is good friends with Chance! Axel is fully aware of Chance's supernatural status, but doesn't really care, it's just "one more interesting thing!" They often hang out and mess around with musical stuff together.
- He has a passion for both playing the drums and motorcycling! (not both at the same time-).Axel uses drumming as a safer way to vent some of his anger and energy, he is said to be extremely skilled. If someone or something aggravates him, he'll go and bang on drums for a few minutes. Due to aforementioned strength, he's had to replace them a few times. When he was just beginning to get into it, sometimes the drumsticks would go flying (thanks Eddy)
- While Axel is a of both more exhilarating things like riding his motorcycle or playing drums, he also spends a lot of time with activities like knitting/crocheting/various other crafts. He's made several stuffed animals and other things for various people, especially Ryder, who takes them all with glee. Oftentimes he'll donate his creations to the local children's hospital at which he has recently started working.
