After her mother's untimely death and a life spent in hiding, she sets off to find her father who's being held by the horrible grasp of Crvena Ruka, a powerful country no one dares to challenge due to their reputation as a very agressive industrial force. Aiine is a very knowledgable person, but lacks expertience as most of her knowledge comes from the books her mother would get for her. She's very distrustful of humans, as they're the majority that opressed her people in Crvena Ruka, and as even those outside of it, whether out of fear or malice, complied with the abuse. She's careful and calculating, but would immediately lose her cool if she was to run across a soldier of CR. On her travels she comes across a human named Gelil and a dwarf named Gordun - She initially distrusts Gelil greately, but as they're all quickly thrust into a life or death situation, she's forced to accept the fact that she was saved by him; saved by a human. In order to save them, Gelil had made a pact with a devil and his soul was taken in return. Aiine initially hated that she was "indebted" to a human, so she stuck around to find a way to help him out of his predicament, but as time went on and she got attached to her companions, she felt more and more desperate to save her friend. She's now travelling with them in hopes of finding her father, a way to break Gelil's curse, and maybe even a way to save a few others along the way.
