Khepri

Khepri is generally a happy guy, but is expectedly sometimes a little awkward when around people. While he loves socializing, he can come off a tad on edge for a multitude of reasons. While he states he’s fine, he can’t help the fact he’s somewhat jumpy; especially when it comes to being touched by others. He really hates being touched and unexpected contact can startle him. This most likely stems from Khepri’s severe OCD as it practically dominates his life and keeps him on a strict routine.

When it comes to working, Khepri holds a very "get it done" attitude. He is very hands-on and is always ready to pitch in on many different tasks. He's very resourceful and always knows how and when to get things done. He’s extremely polished when it comes to time management and is a great person to keep secrets with as he’s used to seeing or hearing private moments during work. He hates pitching in on gossip about people no matter if they’re nice or not. This can also lead Khepri to be somewhat submissive to people.

Khepri is highly against violence and hardly ever raises his voice in irritation. He’s okay with confrontation, but if things start to get physical, he will most likely flee. He is well capable of fighting; he just really hates taking part in it and would rather avoid even getting pinched by someone.

Khepri works as a butler/house manager for other celestials and, very, very rarely, mortals. He does basic butler duties and responsibilities including caring for the entire house and its appearance, being capable of independence and project management, and being careful with negotiating and supervisory skills for outside contractors and other staff, if any. Khepri likes to keep things as neat and tidy as possible; even fixing up other celestials’ abodes or cleaning their belongings even when he isn’t working. He hates germs and any kind of contamination and wears gloves at all times for this reason. He has the tendency to double-check, triple-check, and so on, things like doors to see if they’re locked or stoves to make sure it’s 100% off.

He enjoys his job very much and considers it easy to manage despite it obviously causing him more stress at times when in hand with his disorder. On the plus side, it gives him the chance to get out and meet new people, see friends, or just generally socialize with others. Though he tends to stay away from mortals as he considers them too unsanitary and untrustworthy.

When he isn’t working and is looking to relax, Khepri either spends time with friends or keeps to himself and takes strolls. However, he doesn’t take strolls on Earth. Instead he favors to walk through Hell and unwind like most people would at a park.

Khepri is said to be a self-created god; created from nothing, possibly during the ancient Egyptian times. He made the spell in the Book of the Dead where the scarab placed with the deceased during mummification would instruct the deceased’s heart to not stand as a witness against them when being weighed against Ma’at’s feather of truth during judgement.

He currently lives alone in a gold palace somewhere, only going out when need be

• Khepri is an Egyptian god that represented the emerging sun. He was associated with the scarab (dung beetle) Scarabaeus sacer.
