Prince of the largest empire in the woods, Coriander had always felt discontent with the methods by which his family had attained their power. The systems they implemented were never designed to be sustainable. When the Chaton military came and conquered, they doomed the land and all of its residents. All the diplomatic excellence in the world couldn't help Cori fix the system from within. He loved his family, but in the end, his loyalty lay with his people. After one final ultimatum with his mother, he set off on his own as "River The Vagabond" (named after personal bodyguard and dearest friend, Basil Rivera) to become a real force of good in the Woods.
