It's hard to decipher 02's personality due to her animalistic instincts often overshadowing it. We have noticed that she tends to generally do things to make other creatures upset or angry, and seems to find joy in it. She has a clear lack of empathy for any being not of Volstrecker descent. She is what people would call "all over the place", with her attention rarely staying on one thing for more than five minutes.
Volstreckers are pack animals, and this is clear when exploring 02 and 03's relationship. They are clearly emotionally and physically reliant on each other, both getting significantly more aggressive when away from the other for more than a day. Both of their states of health also do worse when away from each other. In this sense, 02's biggest purpose at the moment is to support 03 as we explore their abilities as a soldier. She has been placed on a smaller lab ship and is always brought to the same places as 03 as they receive missions.
Background
PROJECT VOLSTRECKER 02: Machi
Chosen name, "Machi", this specimen is the second of the Project Volstrecker Experiments conducted in Tallest Nova's labs. Unlike 01, she was able to survive more than a few days. However, she has many reoccuring and life-threatening health issues. She is PAK-less, and instead was built a personal healing pod which she must be in for at least half of every day. She has problems maintaining a healthy oxygen level, and must have oxygen tubes applied every few hours. Too much strenuous activity can put her in a state of shock or cause seizures. It can also cause her to cough up green blood. We theorize that she will only live to be up to 350, if not less.
Similar to 01, 02 retains many of her instinctual Volstrecker behaviors, although amplified. She conducts herself much like a feral animal, and shows low self awareness. She does not care for her name or what pronouns she is referred to by, with her sibling, 03, having insisted on giving her a proper one. She is extremely defensive of her territory and aggressive to outsiders, especially strangers. She is at her calmest around 03, and slightly less aggressive towards the scientists that work close to her. She can speak, but often chooses not to. She is a slow learner, and is easily distracted, having been unable to learn how to fully read due to both of these issues. She is very energetic and requires constant entertainment, often destroying anything and everything around the lab if left alone for too long. Due to this, she is now allowed to wander around the ship with the help of a supervisor. She fails to serve her purpose as a soldier, but she does serve her purpose as a scientific endeavor. We are one step closer to completing our goal.
