Artemis

Artemis is a sociable and exuberant man who seems to always make a good impression no matter where he goes. He is known to be quite selfless and never hesitates to help others if he sees they are struggling, even despite his destitute living situation at times. He lives with a "go with the flow" attitude: seldom making plans both short and long term. He has a remarkable skill for improvising; his entire profession stemmed from a spur-of-the-moment idea to make money. He is highly emotionally driven, and while this trait greatly influences his kind nature, it also often makes him come off a bit hot-headed and somewhat easy to upset.

Though his outward personality may not suggest it, Artemis has many regrets about his past. His ability to perform real, elemental magic is heavily tied to a past he is deeply ashamed of, so he developed his magician persona to convince not only others but himself that his abilities are not real. His shame for his past runs so deep that most do not even know his real name, and he prefers to be called Artemis even by those he is close with.

Artemis is a youthful and healthy looking adult man. He has a somewhat lean build, with chocolate-red short and fluffy hair. He is most commonly seen wearing his performance outfit: a slim red tuxedo and pants, with a black cape, bowtie, leather shoes and gloves. He wears a black top hat with a red-white-and black diamond checkerboard pattern circling around the hat. His suit has three black pockets, the pocket on his chest holding a black quill that is visibly poking out from his pocket. The top of this hat has a lid that can be opened; typically to fire off fireworks or release birds for a trick. His eyes are often drawn black in color, but when his eye color is visible, it is a deep reddish-brown similar to his hair color. He is also sometimes seen utilizing a baton to perform magic, which is a black rod with a red, spherical gem at the tip.
