Lucius

Lucius is a young man who was born into a rich family. He was infamous in his town for being an unlucky gambler and a pretentious jerk, as well as a womanizer whose awful personality made all the women hate him.

His sister was a witch named Lucy, who practiced the family's magic of "manipulation" (a magic that focusses on "controlling" people or animals to a certain degree. If misused, it can harm the user's mind). Her familiar is a power beast that had wreck havoc across the land, until tamed by her. Lucy was the opposite of her brother, and was known to be kind and well-loved by everyone. She and Lucius never got along and would always have disagreements.

After one such disagreement, Lucius found her dead in the forest. Fearing that he would be accused as the murderer by townsfolk, family, and most of all Lucy's familiar, he took up her identity and left town.

Lucius' main goal is finding who killed his sister without letting anyone (especially the familiar) know who he really is. Using Lucy's journal which contains spells, Lucius is teaching himself magic.
