Summary

- Maria is an aspiring visual artist and playwright who came to Vale City for more opportunities to get her work seen. 

- Maria has had modest success and built connections with other local artists but has yet to fulfill her dream of exhibiting her work for grander audience.

- Any attempts to make it big have resulted in her exploitation, making it hard for her to trust those in the industry to give her the big break she desires. 

- In the meantime, Maria works a job at a local bar and is seen as family by the others who work there. 

- This is especially true the Pub's proprietor, who has been like a gruff Father to Maria since her arrival.  

- Maria sends all of her excess money back to her elderly mother, who she is afraid to disappoint. Maria's mother supports her artistic dreams and believes in her success.

- Maria has a calm and collected exterior but on the inside she is a hopeless romantic and is also bitter towards the predatory nature of Vale City.

- Maria is in love with Vale Cities' Rising Star, who often frequents the bar that she works at. Little does Maria know that the feelings are mutual...

- Maria's artistic ventures made her close with the Liestro family, the daughter of the house often attends Maria's plays and finds them fascinating. 

- Through this connection Maria also met the Liestro Families' eldest heir, whom she is privately dating. 

- Maria is a victim of possession, which distorted her Inheritance. Maria's body is often cold as ice and she wears warm clothing even on summer days to combat her bodies' natural chill.

- Maria's Inheritance allows her to manifest a cold mist from her palm. She can disperse the mist into cool air or densify it into shards of ice. 

- Maria's Inheritance would've been powerful in The Golden Era of Magic but has since been diluted and now only has novel uses.

- Maria uses her power to chill the drinks she makes while working at the Gub Pub.
