Petalbreeze

Perhaps the gentlest soul you can ever meet in this world. Petalbreeze is the very opposite of her predecessor and half sister, Blueshade. She cares for every cat in her Colony with a mother's care and tenderness, even as a kit. This is not to say she's no pushover. Nope. When she was barely a moon into her time as a Novice, her mentor Blueshade is found guilty of treason and killed. 

Petalbreeze soon becomes a Surgeon and soon finds herself as the Colony's new Physician at only seven moons old. She shows an intense degree of inner strength and takes on the role with the skill of a cat ten times her age. In time, she becomes a fully fledged Physician and is beloved by all of the Colony, even by those who initially distrusted her due to her mentor. 

FATHER: Rosebush - Loved and respected her pop dearly. Petalbreeze first betrayed her tender side but comforting her father whenever he gained yet another battle wound and told him stories of the Star Colonies to take his mind off the pain, even if he would rather have been left alone most times.

MOTHER: Blueface - Always felt her mother was hiding something from her but could never quite work out what it was. This caused a slight friction between the two as Petalbreeze wished to help her mother with whatever troubled her. She eventually found out her mother's dark past via her elder half-brother, Woodclaw, but was sworn to secrecy. 

SIBLINGS: Woodclaw - Has a very close bond with him and respects him greatly. It is he who reveals what happened with Blueshade and Hazeldust and their atrocities against the Colony and how Blueshade is Blueface's estranged daughter and their sister. Petalbreeze is sworn to never talk to Blueface about it, however. It is one she keeps, to ensure her mother lives out her final days in peace. 

Lady Skyshine - The two of them are the best of friends and enjoy a prosperous bond as Lady and Physician, leading the Colony of the Mire from their darkest days to their brightest. Petalbreeze is always at hand to comfort her sister during her leadership, having faith in the pair of them to repair the broken ties of their Colony through their own strong bond. 

Silversong - Petalbreeze has heard stories about her and her family quite frequently and she mourns all of them, unable to comprehend the cruel and misguided fate that befell them. 

Blueshade - Unlike the rest of the Colony, Petalbreeze can not bring herself to hate her dead half-sister and former mentor. Instead, she pities Blueshade and secretly blames most of her behaviour on Lady Lakenight and her vindictiveness. Even after Blueshade tries to take advantage of this and almost forces Petalbreeze to poison the false leader, Petalbreeze still regards her with sorrow and sympathy.  

NOVICE:  Drizzlebright - Often worries that her temperament could let her down as a Surgeon but does her utmost to instill wisdom and kindness in her young Novice and often provides a shoulder to cry on when it comes to the upheavel in her family life.

MENTOR: Blueshade - Petalbreeze was always in awe of her older half-sister. The fact that she was soon revealed as a murderous traitor was a great shock to her and she fell behind in training as a Surgeon for a while because of it.
