Vodai

Before the crash of the Exodar, Vodai was a respected, but bitter paladin. He had died in the crash of the Exodar, and had never gotten the chance to discover their new lands, although, he probably would not have appreciated it before. 

He was revived by the Lich King to be a death-knight. After turning his back on the Lich King for the alliance, he found an appreciation for life in general. He was granted a second chance, and could not remember his previous live. He didn't care what he was before, and loved the inventions of the races of Azaroth, and the nature that consumed most of it. 

Amarillon is another death knight, who he quickly bonds with after given their freedom, and loves to spend time with. 

He recognizes a Dranaei, Yuunala, and asks if she remembers him, as they are around the same age. She, with restraint, tells him somewhat of his title, vaguely of who he was without the bitterness.

When returning to the Exodar he is reunited with memories of everything he had lost in death, and in his own neglect. He once had a child, and his love for them was never once shown. His passion had only gone to his magic, and now that child is gone. He does not hold contempt against the blood-elves, for that past self he once was is not him anymore.

His bond with Amarillon thickens with the realization he lost his family, and he claims Amarillon now as his brother, despite being a void-elf. He makes sure the times spent with eachother is often joyful, meaningful, and will never neglect him like he did to his own blood. 

With being gifted a new life by the lich king, and free will by the alliance, he lets himself explore the world around him, appreciate the world he otherwise would have been blinded too before his death, and give everything his love and fight for peace, and fill that hole created by things he had lost.
