Lord Runfast's Werwulf was a warrior from East Anglia who turned into a werwulf (that's anglosaxon for werewolf) in 710 AD. He lived in the ruins of a roman city, but it seems I never wrote down his name.
He was caught in a snare while looking for a cow to eat, and then he was burned to death using sacramental wine.
