Profile

The vassal to Prince Chigai Tezcacoatl (http://toyhou.se/435865.chigai) , Ulfric takes many duties. He fills the role of a scholar, protective guardian, chef, companion, soldier, and tactician if the need comes. Initially, he was born into a family of chefs in the north, a life which he enjoyed greatly. However, as a young child, his family was murdered in front of his eyes, sending him into a vortex of despair and anguish, triggering a powerful affinity for magic, which he used to dispose of their murderer. To further his magical abilities, he took up studies with magical creatures, the Dreitol, and enlisted in the military. Climbing the ranks quickly for his knowledge, wisdom, attendance of college, and strength, he eventually became the vassal of Prince Chigai. 

Personality

With his position, Ulfric is definitely diligent and hardworking. His tactical prowess has lead himself, Chigai, and Waldhar to avoid and defeat many other military forces and even conquer larger forts with only the three. However, he can be extremely lazy at times, or even selfish and reclusive. At the same time, he can be found being generous sometimes, even volunteering to give a lesson or two at local colleges during times of peace. A bit overweight, he can also be self-conscious of himself, doubting whether he's earned his position in truth. Most likely to be caught sleeping on the job.

Combat

In combat, Ulfric uses powerful magic and is suprisingly agile. Primarily, he uses fire magic, though he does know other forms of magic. If a situation came in which he could not use magic, he carries a small steel dagger in his belt to defend himself. He can take a hit or two, especially from opposing magic, but his skin is also soft and malleable under all of his cloth armor. He puts his strengths to good use, but tries to stay out of combat unless he's direly needed.

Relationships

Chigai: Chigai and Ulfric have a deep connection, going back before their professional relationship. In the despair that followed his parents' murder, he sought out a soothsayer-- his cousin, Winrich, who informed him that in his future, he would meet a courageous warrior, who would avenge his family and save Ulfric from his despair. Meeting Chigai, Ulfric had instantly known that he would be capable. Quickly becoming attached to the prince, Ulfric began calling Chigai "My Brave."

Winrich: Ulfrc and Winrich are cousins. Though the two are not close, Ulfric and Winrich would often rely on each other as children.

Waldhar: Knowing Waldhar and Chigai have chemistry unlike Ulfric and Chigai's, Ulfric is extremely jealous of Waldhar. Though he keeps it to himself, Ulfric has great romantic affections for Chigai, but is disheartened at the sight of Waldhar and Chigai together. Regardless, Ulfric and Waldhar still talk amicably.
