• Scar across his throat from hyena bite
• Hair is dark brown, almost black, with a white streak going all the way to the root, and falls to just above his shoulders

• His magic is bright red, and he refuses on principle to use Enchantment spells

On first meeting Talon, you would be forgiven for thinking he is a bit of a dick (and he himself would agree). He is instinctively wary of strangers, especially those whose intentions are unclear, and this usually manifests as being quite cold and bristly with people until they have proven themselves trustworthy. He has a quick temper and has trouble with anything that requires a delicate social touch - he knows how to hide, steal and lockpick, not how to navigate people.

However, give him time to warm up and, while he’s still not exactly a social butterfly, he has a sharp sense of humour and a quiet, but fierce, loyalty to the people he cares for. He doesn’t think much of himself as a person - though, again, it mostly comes out in self-deprecating jokes, he believes himself a coward and unworthy of the care and attention of his friends. Any display of his own affection tends to be on the subtler side, as he is intensely secretive and a little clueless when it comes to maintaining relationships, but it’s there all the same - especially when it comes to mother figures, who he tends to latch onto after losing his own mother as a young boy.

Due to the somewhat traumatic circumstances of his upbringing, Talon deeply values his personal freedom and will react strongly and angrily at anyone, or anything, that tries to take that from him. In particular, anything or anyone that tries to use Enchantment magic against him will get the brunt of his fiery temper - and, despite being an Arcane Trickster, he avoids using Enchantment magic himself at all costs.
