Here youll find all resources and info about theese funky critters and how to make your own if you want
SPECIES RULES
When acquiring/making a Mollikos you are automatically agreeing with theese terms, so please read them! Its not much<3
Breaking them result in public blacklisting and ban from obtaining my species or designs/art in the future
✦Mollikos are a Semi-Open Species created and owned by me, St4rd4st✦
General
✦”Semi-open” means you can make and own as many as you want for for free :^D but following certain rules! Explined below and in the MYO Guide uvu
✦All designs and any trait(s) upgrades need to be approved by me before posting (and using) them publicy!
-Just send them to me via any of my social media, dont forget to specify it in the subject/message x3
✦Mollikos are for personal use ONLY. This means youre NOT allowed to make adopts/customs/PTU bases/using them for commercial purposes/etc. Basically: you cant use them for profit. Only me and my partner Emece can do so.
-Designs may also be used in unpublished projects such as comics, novels or free games as long as we discussed it beforehand, and the individual understands and agrees that commercial useage terms will be re-discussed and changed if a project goes from unpublished to a published or profiting entity.
✦I retain rights to my artwork and intellectual property
✦I may use adopts and customs as examples in refs or in a portfolio (please tell me if you dont want your design to be public like that)
✦I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason, including but not limited to: suspicious accounts with multiple monetary-related PSAs, accounts with no ties to the art/adopt community, newly made accounts, etc
MYOs
✦MYOs can be sold/vouchered ONLY WHEN they come with extra commissioned art or craft, and for the same value of that art or less.
✦You can have your Mollikos designed by someone else, just credit them properly!
✦Do not base your MYO off of canon series/films/games characters (but some inspiration is fine)
Adopts and Customs
✦All sales are final - No refunds
✦You may resell/voucher official adopts but only for the same price you bought it or less, with the exception of when it comes with extra art
-In that case you may increase their price accordingly to the art´s worth
-Guest Artists Adopts will follow the designer´s own TOS!
✦Designs obtained via trade/gift cannot be resold.>The only exception to this is if the traded design comes with commissioned art you, the current owner, payed for, and can only be resold for the value of said commission(s). This is to prevent people from profiting off my designs while at the same time allows them to get the money they invested in the character back.
✦Co-owning is fine! But he politics of that is to be kept between the co-owners, I dont want, and wont be involved in discussions ✦All design made by me follow my design ToS here (but will copypaste it into every adopt post uvu with specific changes)
Edits
✦Mollikos are free to edit, redesign and upgrade (if you have tickets)! Take liberty to completely re-do a design either by me or by you anytime uvu Just follow the species rules and respect the rarity of the traits (unless you have ticket(s) to upgrade)
-You can edit an adopt/custom directly on the file but please keep a clean copy of the original (for trades). This applies to redesigns too!
-You cannot treat the edited version and the original as 2 separate designs, can only use or trade one or the other!
-Traits can only be swapped within the same rarity, or below! (aka rare for rare, normal for normal, etc) unless you have upgrade ticket(s) uvu (see the trait list tab for more info about tickets and how to get them)
✦All edits needs to be sent and approved by me before posting and using the edited design!
✦Edits that dont need my approval: Outfits, hairstyle, slight palette/markings changes, and basically anything that is not a permanent change on the design
Discontinuing the species
✦If you wish your Mollikos design, MYO or adopt, to no longer be part of the Mollikos species you can do so without problem! Dont need to tell me, just make sure to strip the design of at least some characteristic traits combinations of this species, and dont call it a Mollikos obviously
-But if you take a Mollikos adopt by me out of the species because you want to use the design in other proyect(s) with commercial intentions, please DM me to discuss commercial rights! It will be 100% sure youll have to change their species tho
Reasons to be blacklisted:
-You are willingly/knowingly breaking the rules (I understand we all make mistakes but if you keep breaking them after the warning youll be blacklisted)
-You copy/trace//steal/sell characters and/or art from me or others
-You are *blatantly copying* my species as a whole
-Youre harrasing me or other users in any way
I have the right to update/change these rules at any time

MAKE YOUR OWN
✦First of all, READ THE RULES PLS and if you agree, then keep going :^D
-If you want to make a normal Mollikos you only need to read their info here, and choose to your liking uvu (consult the trait list or ask me if you are unsure about rarity)
-If you want to try your luck and make one with fancier traits, you will also need to read how the roll system works here and follow the steps! easy peasy uvu
✦Once you make your baby (or babies) its time to send them to me for approval (via PM)! You need to include their ref and what ticket(s) were used, if you used them! I will check on the list and update your storage in that case uwu
You can use my free chibi base here if youd like! x3! (its a PSD file so you can open it with almost any art program uvu)
