Gale

Gale is a quiet one, tending to be quite lazy after he's finished work. Hie spends most his days napping, eating, or being dragged to adventure with Shaku. He has the habit of putting other before himself even it it completely exhausts him. He's extremely laid back (it being near impossible to piss him off unless your hurting one of his friends) but does have a dislike for unnecessary loud noises. He has an unusual love for strawberries in milk (due to his childhood), shiny objects (and shells) and is rather superb at cooking. He voice is very soft and subdue, usually a whisper, and he's fluent in English, French and Japanese (he can pick up languages pretty easily though). He is more acclimatized to human society and the more capable of the two when to comes to attacking and killing. Due to there being less food in winter he is more plump in summer and spring and skinnier in fall and winter (his main concern is keeping fed).

Gale was actually raised for a short time by human parents who found him when they were scuba diving in deeper waters. Because he mentally developed faster then normal human children, by the time he was 3 he was cooking with his father and developed a love for it. He always felt out of place amongst them however and at the age of 5 was left alone long enough where he ran away and returned to the sea. He ended up becoming a crew member and cook onboard a (pirate) ship after returning to the sea, spending a couple years before deciding he'd rather live a more wild life without constant interaction with humans. He rarely speaks of these times of his life, especially around Shaku who's always wanted to be part of a family or community. 
He spent another two years alone until he ran into Shaku, the two at first hating each other but eventually formed a brotherly bond with much bickering. Ever since the two met each other they rarely are far from each other so the following ten years were mostly them bonding, bickering, and training each other to less annoy one another. 

Others

• Though Gale knew how to speak 'human' language, he never spoke to humans the first couple years he was with Shaku. He only began speaking it once he taught Shaku how to as well. He usually speaks english but is fluent in French and Japanese, he also picks up quickly on other languages as he has traveled far and wide in the water.
• Because he was originally raised in a more 'human' way he is able to act natural in society and does sometimes go on land for food during colder times.
• Though he doesn't look very threatening, he is the more capable of the two boys when it comes to attacking and killing. He does most of the hunting and is the first one to stand his ground rather then back down. He has taken human lives due to his life inboard but doesn't speak of it.
• Gale is extremely good at lying though he rarely uses this to his advantage
• He has a love for shiny objects and sea shells
• He does rather well with animals (even land dwelling animals) even though he doesn't really interact with them outside hunting
• Gale has a habit of eating quite heavily in warmer times of the year and then barely anything once it's cold (this is due to less food during cold times, so his main priority is feeding Shaku)
• His favorite 'food' is sliced strawberries in milk, his human parents would often give to him as a child. In total he is very fond of strawberries, they often being around the house as he grew up and he never seemed to tired of them.
