Clover Chaisson

Overview   

Clover is a transgirl who is quite shy.  She is just starting to present as a girl outside the comfort of her own home and would love to have some good friends to help support her.  She loves wearing skirts and indulging in self-care!

Backstory

When Clover was growing up, she struggled a lot with her sexuality and identity. As a kid, she was always fascinated in dressing up and playing with makeup. Her parents quickly got it into her head that this was wrong and pushed her away from it. So Clover played dress up in secret and, by 6th grade, had already snatched up a few things from her mom's old makeup bag to play around with. It was a lot of fun for her, but this fun activity of hers turned into dread when she got into Junior high and sexuality became more of a hot topic around the school. She never told anybody about her hobby, and the word 'fag' and 'gay' were thrown around enough for her to want to keep it that way. But she started to have a lot of self-doubt in herself. Was she... a freak?

As a high school student, she was a 'jock' who had a hard time with her own sexuality. She slept with a few women but never really kept any girlfriends. She had a few crushes on other boys, but she suppressed them until she couldn't feel them anymore. She was old enough to search up her issues and developed a lot of self-hatred because she thought that she was some weird fetish freak. I mean a dude who has fun in women's clothing? That sounded pretty gross. Also at this point, she was fully through puberty. Her fun little game of dress up wasn't even fun anymore because she was becoming a man now. The one hobby she had that has helped her feel good was now gone with the rest of her childhood. Clover started to have major dysphoria with how she looked. She thought she was gay but was never going to come out of the closet about that. She had heard about trans girls, but the media portrayed them as these elegant divas, and Clover knew she would never fit in with that sort of community with how reserved she was.

Her father (a lawyer) got her to go into law school. Clover did what she was told and went through the first year, hating the whole thing. By the time she got to the end of the year, she was having a major life crisis. Everything was just ... so wrong. She hated herself and her studies; She was becoming more and more distant from her friends and family.

She met a transboy named Jay on an online forum. He gave a much more accurate insight on what it meant to be trans. At one point, Clover took a trip to meet him (She told her father that she was going on a class trip so he would pay for it). She stayed at Jay's house for a few weeks, and they talked about everything. But most importantly he told her that she doesn't have to be one of those divas. She didn’t’ have to wear crazy makeup or be flamboyant. She could do whatever she wants, whatever made her comfortable.

Clover went home. Her visit took a huge weight off her shoulders that she had been carrying around for so many years. She knew it at that point for sure: she was trans. That realization changed her whole life.

She came out to her parents, and they were not at all understanding. Clover ended up having to move out, or else she would be sent to some camp to 'fix' her. The denial was really hard on her, and Clover was very upset. She quit law school and moved out to where Jay lived. She lived with him for a few weeks while she collected her bearings and found a job. She then moved into her own little apartment, starting to explore her identity slowly before fully presenting as female outside. She is now starting on Estrogen and is going through a very tough time since she isn't 'passing' yet. She has a lot of self-esteem issues but is slowly starting to find her comfort zones with her identity, and feels so much better about who she is as a person.

Misc Facts 

• Clover loves baths and self-care and spends a ton of money on products and creams.
• She works currently in a law office (Unfortunately.  She hates it but it makes money)
• Clover watches a lot of Youtube tutorials, and she is a really big fan of Bubzbeauty. Unlike other makeup artists, Bubz feels genuine to listen to.

Clover doesn't really have many friends or anything, she works at an office does her errands etc, without meeting many other people but I REALLY want to get somebody for her to be friends, and especially a lover at some point!! Raise her confidence and also give her a relationship after she hasn't had one since high school!
