Marty is a very wholesome kind of dog. He's your best friend, a great companion who seems to stand beside you as a friend rather than a pet. He isn't a velcro dog by any means but he's no less devoted. Marty is also very intelligent and rather easy to train though he does like to take his own time doing things. He takes his job seriously as a working dog and athlete; really a well rounded boy.
