Ahilan is a canine creature and lives in the fairy-like highlands of his world. He is the protector of the weak and hurt and has the ability to heal pain and wounds by turning it onto himself. This brings the danger of killing himself by saving others but also the power of great destruction when fighting enemies. However he is unwilling to cause pain to other beings and is viewed as a traitor because of not taking part in great battles and therefore not protecting his home from enemies.
