Back many many years ago, far too long ago for Adakias could recall, he was on the lowest level of living in the city. He was once homeless, living day by day just barely surviving with uncertainty of when he would get to eat again or if he would live another day. It was a cruel life in the city, no one would be there to help you. It was an "eat or be eaten" world, and Adakias would have to learn that to survive.
He would learn, and very quickly too. He would swiftly rise to power and rise above the rest of civilization, the same one that left him to die. Before long, he would build a towering casino in the heart of the city. It would become a hivemind where all the restless souls and lowlifes of the city would gather to risk it all just for the small chance to either gain riches and move up the chain, or lose everything they had and fall further into despair. If you see Adakias join you in a game of poker, best to fight for your life, even if it’s already too late. Don’t you even dare think, let alone attempt, to cheat in this kitsune’s domain. Anyone who’s stupid enough to try such a thing, is rumored to never be seen again.

While at his casino, Adakias puts on a tough and mysterious persona to intimidate those around him, but once he gets back to his penthouse and with his daughter he softens up and takes time to de-stress. Even he needs a break from the casino life

Amanita [ Ex-Partner ]
At one point long in the past, during the period Adakias was rising to power, these two once loved each other. The news of the new couple was a shock to everyone at the time. Although, whether or not this love was real is a mystery. Whenever questioned Adakias wouldn’t comment on the matter or skip to the next question. It’s best to not dig too deep into this kitsune’s past with Amanita. He isn’t happy with people snooping around, and you don’t want to get on his bad side.
Miura [ Adopted Daughter ]
Adakias’s first run-in with Miura happened on the streets. Found wandering about, half dead and starving, she was begging for scraps or any change in a dark alleyway by the sidewalk. One look at her and Adakias instantly knew she wouldn’t last long out here without a bit of help. He saw bits of himself within her. Disguised from the public, he’d donate a good bit of money to her, alongside a little box with a meal. He would later find her in his casino, two other lowlifes sparking a fight with her in an attempt to take her money. Adakias himself would barge in between the fight to put an end to it. Adakias would bring the little merm somewhere safer, away from the others: his penthouse. The merm, the one who Adakias had donated earlier, admitted she didn’t come to the casino to gamble but to thank him. She had caught sight of his three tails while leaving and knew instantly it was him. At that moment, Adakias vowed to protect the little merm, keeping her in his care and raising her as his own.
Avreil [ Personal Bodyguard/Hitman ]
Adakias was well aware of the dangers of being one of, if not, the most mermyxn in the city, others would have their sights on him, and not for good reasons either. So when overhearing a conversation about a deadly hitman prowling the city from his casino patrons, Adakias had to meet the mermyxn himself. He wanted to see how deadly this so-called ‘hitman’ really was. When he finally got the chance to meet him, he struck the merm with quite a few difficult hits. If this mermyxn is really what he says he is, he would complete the hits just fine. Much to his shock yet delight, the mermyxn, named Avreil, accepted the hits and soon returned to Adakias with the news that the targets were taken care of. He knew then and there that Avreil was the perfect mermyxn to serve for him, to protect him from the others that wanted to cause trouble. Since then, Avreil has been his personal bodyguard and hitman.
