Hani Tsuchida was raised as an orphan alongside other orphans in a small village-- She was taken care of by most of the villagers themselves. She had a happy childhood until demons slaughtered the majority of her village before getting rescued by a demon slayer. After this, she decided that becoming a demon slayer was what she wanted to do with her life. Hani is a stubborn individual and never gives up when she puts her mind towards something, no matter the consequences. She's feisty and tough, willing to do whatever it takes to protect other people and win the battle at the same time. Despite being tough, she has a weakness to pain and doesn't handle it very well; but, this doesn't stop her from getting in painful situations. All over her body are small scars from injuries she's received, though the only obvious one is the ones on her cheek. Has a bad habit of showing off, especially when around those of higher rank, though she is quite high in rank herself. She loves to be praised for what she's accomplished. She is on the Autistic Spectrum. Generally seen with a very cheerful demeanor, she smiles often and tries to cheer other people up when they are down, making her quite a good morale booster. Uses her cuteness to her advantage, though she dislikes when people question her age. She's stuck with Giyu Tomioka ever since meeting him as she admires and adores the male with all she has. Can be a bit awkward during social situations and is often found stimming by gnawing on things, or occasionally people she is close with. She was an alcoholic for many years, stopping only with the help of Giyu, as she used alcohol as a coping mechanism for the pain in her life she wasn't able to face head on. Her hair is always wild and she has sharper than average canine teeth.
