By all appearances, Megrez is sunny side up. She's bright and peppy, enthusiastically popping in and out of peoples' business. However, in quieter moments, she's far more reflective, and when her past catches up to her, the good cheer falls away. She becomes an anxious, sorrowful sort, mourning her lost friends and her strange condition. She comes out of it, but she's keenly aware of the price of her past and survival.

Rhea Lee is not this girl's true name, and neither is Megrez. As a child, this Dainty was part of a "class" of seven Dainties known as the Septentriones, named because their designations were taken from seven stars from a distant world. This class was part of the government's attempt to create artificial magic users from living people. Dainties were the primary subjects due to their genetic and meta-malleability. The methods used had varying effectiveness and side effects, but for "Megrez," the result was that she was the only survivor of her seven. When the laboratory was raided and she was rescued, she compiled a new identity from the names of three other Dainties in the set she was close to. Rhea Lee is her "regular" name; "Megrez" is a code name for operations (and was not her designation in the past).
Megrez only survived because of the unique method used to grant her magic: she has a fragment of a mysterious being's essence implanted in her body. The fragment gives her an intermittent link to that being, who also seems to have a sad history, judging from the memories she occasionally experiences that aren't hers. If the fragment were to be removed or the link to be broken, Rhea would die immediately. She can't prove that the being on the other side experiences her memories too, but she hopes so, and that's part of her motivation to live a happy life.
Nowadays, Rhea lives in Neutel City, acting as one of the Sugar Star's bartenders and occasionally performing as a decently popular local idol act.
