MOONSHADE
[ "Perhaps the cruellest thing you ever did to me, was make me care." ]
Moonshade and Tatteredheart were destined to loath each other for all eternity. He was meant to murder her. And though he knew it, there was a time where he was terrified of her. From her threats and strangulations and frequent assualts, even after he brutally killed her, he was forever haunted by her memory. His dreams plagued with a twisted, corrupted form of her. He never understood, though, why his eyes had been wet with pain as he knelt beside her corpse in the Darkforest. Nobody ever could understand.
KESTRELPAW
[ "My death, right now, is what defines me. Don't let it be your destiny.." ]
His beloved Kestrelpaw, his first mate, and perhaps the one cat he loved more than anything in his cruel world. Tatteredheart's happiest days were with her. And her sickening, bloodchurning death broke him. He would cry every night for three years over her memory, not even her spirit's distant touch could soothe him. Tatteredheart had grown so disconnected with StarClan, his mind took on a belief of never seeing Kestrelpaw again. And that thought hurts him more than anything that makes life worth living.
FLEDGLINGPAW
[ "We won't let them find out." ]
Fledglingpaw had been a friend of his from the start of their apprenticeship. And when Kestrelpaw died, the two forbidden lovers found solace in one another. Tatteredheart felt so guilty over betraying Kestrelpaw's memory, he would often pretend that Fledglingpaw was her, and his heart and mind pretended that this cat who loved him was someone else. She died for him. Murdered before his eyes. And that would be the last time he would ever, ever see her. Plummetting to her demise, crying out in horror. She gave her life again, to save him, again. And her spirit became nothing. She was nothing but a faint memory of someone else to Tatteredheart's broken heart.
NIGHTBADGER
[ Comatose Father ]
Nightbadger was a vague memory, a shape, in Tatteredkit's mind. His father loved him dearly, but fell into a coma a moon after his son's birth. He was in a coma for most of Tatteredkit's childhood, and a week after his son's apprenticeship, Nightbadger's breathing stopped and his lungs gave out. Tatteredpaw was devastated, but moved on faster than his mother. Sometimes he sees visions of his father, but never was close to him, reluctantly.
SPRUCEHEART
[ "I'm just sorry I couldn't be there to see you become a Warrior..It's all my fault." ]
Spruceheart was a troubled young Warrior, he struggled as a mentor and devolping his own morals from the good of the Clan. He was incredibly close with Tatteredpaw, though, they loved each other dearly and had a connection because Spruceheart's own mentor had been Tatteredpaw's father. After accidentally causing a rift between Shadow and RiverClan, a battle ensued, and it cost Spruceheart his life. Tatteredpaw was devastated.
POPPYSHADE
[ Mother ]
Poppyshade and Tatteredheart had a very healthy relationship. They were close, she supported him as his mother, and did all she could to make him happy. When her mate died, she became depressed and clingy, obsessed with making sure her son was content. She would (of course, not on purpose) humiliate him and frustrate him, all out of fear of losing him. After the two had a fight, Poppyshade was murdered by Shadowmuzzle and Moonpaw, poisoned. Her death triggered her son's anger at the world generally, and he swore revenge. He got that revenge, but Poppyshade couldn't bare her son's new personality and the harm it caused.

Timberstar
[ "You need to define where your loyalties lie." ]
When Timberstar discovered Tatteredkit was meant to stop the evil and was bound by StarClan, the wise old leader had high hopes for the kit. He was often gentle to the chimera tom, gave him constant encouragement and even supervised some of his training. But when Tatteredpaw began to start snapping, blaming StarClan, verbally attacking the medicine cat, making his clan-mages uncomfortable, etc. Timberstar would scold him, and as Tatteredheart broke more and more rules or gave less attention to his duty as a Warrior, Timberstar's patience grew short. Which was why it was a wonder as to why he chose Tatteredheart as deputy. He felt obliged to, and wishes he could have done more to help the troubled Warrior.
Riflewhisker
[ Best Friend/Clan-mate ]
Riflepaw was....a toxic friend, more or less. He was originally very close to his sister; Moonpaw. So close, that when Moonpaw and Tatteredpaw started fighting, Riflepaw always sided with his cruel sister. It was unfair to Tatteredpaw, and though he tried to apologize despite not being in the wrong, Riflepaw continued to blame him. But once Tatteredpaw's parents, mentor, mates etc all began to die, Riflewhisker took pity on him. Noticing Moonshade was slipping away into madness, Riflewhisker sparked up Tatteredheart's trust again. Riflewhisker remains a better friend now, but there's a reason why he hasn't too been killed by the touch of StarClan's curse...
SHADOWMUZZLE
[ "T'sorry 'paw. A cat, for a cat." ]
Shadowmuzzle heavily influenced and mentally/physically abused/harrassed and threatened both Tatteredheart and Moonshade. He was a lustful, brutal Warrior, serving under the Darkdorest. In a border dispute, Tatteredpaw survived at the expense of Shadowmuzzle's own apprentice. This led him to murder Tatteredpaw's mentor and mother, and in revenge, Tatteredheart ripped the RiverClan Warrior's throat and then dismembered his stomach in hate. He holds no regret or remorse for the cruel killing, and only pride. Shadowmuzzle's haunting corpse continues to plague Tatteredheart's mind and memory forever however. Tatteredheart would slaughter the Warrior one hundred times over if given the chance.
BRACKENSONG
[ "Why? Why are you doing this to me? Pushing me away?" ]
Brackensong was Spruceheart's mate. She was there by his side when he died, and was pregnant soon after. Despite this, she self-declared herself to take over Tatteredpaw's training, and cared for him almost like a son. Tatteredpaw was very overprotective of her, but after she nearly dies, he stops close contact with Brackensong and tries to break all bonds they had. He only fears for her life.. for what StarClan would do to her if he loved her too much..
STORMCOAT
[ "StarClan has bound you, Tatteredstar. Don't worry. I'll free you. I have free'd all the sinners of the Clans." ]
Moonshade, the one who affected him the most. Shadowmuzzle, the one he hated the most. But Stormcoat... his last victim. The Warrior that haunted Tatteredstar to no end. He was horrifyingly cunning and vicious. A cold blooded killer with no remorse. Nothing. And Tatteredstar had to kill him. This cat that murdered eighteen Warriors without a scratch to show for it, this cat who murdered the one he loved.. and then watched calmly as Tatteredpaw cried for her. To say Tatteredstar feared him was an understatement. But he fought to the death. Two lives, Stormcoat stole from him, in front of everyone at the gathering. He ripped out Tatteredstar's throat and then sliced open his stomach. But the Leader would not give up. In a fit of rage, he tore out Stormcoat's head, his strength fueled by hate. And then as he stood over his kill, he realized that the serial murderer of the Clans was dead.
FISHSTAR
[ Enemy ]
The troubles with RiverClan didn't end after Tatteredstar became leader. Fishstar was an arrogant, snotty, disrespectful Warrior that contiuned to give Tatteredstar a hard time. The chimera's short bitter temper paired with Fishstar's immature, insulting behavior was predicted to cause high tensions between the two leaders.
